The biggest mistake small business owners make is to go straight to the printer for new business cards. WRONG! You
want to come see the artist BEFORE you go to the printer! The printer will typeset your name and information
and then throw in a cute little piece of clip art that everyone has seen for years and he'll call it "your logo".
But you don't want that little man with a big head in coveralls holding an oversized wrench over his shoulder
if you're a mechanic. We've all seen that little guy everywhere! What you want for your business to be successful is a
customized graphic designed just for you and what you do. An eye-catching logo that will stick in the minds
of your customers and come to be associated with your business alone. Your LOGO is the backbone of your business. That is what's referred
to as "Company Branding" or "Corporate Identification". Show anyone that circle with the horizontal lines
running through it and imediately they know it is AT&T. Look at the Nike "Swoosh". That's why you need to start
your business off on the right foot with a unique logo that represents your business and will start you on the road to years
of success. Hi! You found me, I'm Bobby
Gene The Art Machine! Please take a moment to look through my pages of some of the designs I've done for my clients. I can
provide you with a cutting edge logo for your corporate stationary, mailers, storefront signage, as well as illustrations,
cartoons, character development & website mascots, catalog & book illustrations, realistic medical & product
illustrations, caricatures from your JPEGs that can be incorporated with your logo or used in ads, flyers, brochures, invitations...
all you need is my imagination! And
for your office or your home, check out my wall murals page to see how you can add a special personal touch to set a
mood in your home or liven up a dull office or waiting room! (Wall murals are only
available in the Orange County, NY / Vernon, NJ areas.) PLUS, you'll find a very special feature for my equestrian & pet loving friends; custom made, top quality
wood stall plaques featuring a Caricature of Your Horse or a Memorial Plaque of your Dog, Cat or any beloved Pet. Now go on,
look around my pages and enjoy! And don't forget to email me at artmachine@aol.com with any questions or requests you may have.
I'll be right here waiting to hear from you!

Just
a bit about who I am... Thirty and some odd years ago, when I was still in high school, my friends gave me the name of "Bobby
Gene The Art Machine" because I was always in the middle of several projects at once. I'd be called upon by a neighbor
to design a logo for some relative's new business in exchange for a few bucks or in trade for something I might need. Once
I got paid with a leaf blower in exchange for painting a sign for a landscaping company. Ever since high school I have fallen
into the business of doing graphic design, logo design, corporate I.D. (before I even knew what that meant) caricatures, portraits,
customized greeting cards, and anything else anyone could need artistically, including painting flames on an old black '62
Chevy Super Sport! So I was The Art Machine. I was then formally trained in fine art over the first three years of my college
experience which included, first, Parson's School of Design and The New School for Social Research in NYC, then the University
of Miami, followed by the San Francisco Art Institute. After all my wandering to schools across the country I decided to go
back to the east coast where I was born and raised and all my family lived, and back to the truly greatest city in the world,
New York. (I think if you're born and raised in NYC, no matter
what other great cities you visit, nothing else can compare.) So I enrolled in the School of Visual
Arts and this time changed my major from fine art to media art, figuring I'd have a better chance to earn a living. I've worked
in ad agencies in New York City straight out of college, doing TV commercial storyboards for many years. For a while I was
the entire art department for my home town's health department where I was responsible for all the graphics for pamphlets,
brochures and teaching aids, I designed them and produced and wrote them! I worked for a few specialty magazines as a writer,
photographer and cartoonist. In the '80s I decided to freelance only, so I started up my little company painting pet portraits
on sweatshirts as a vender for many international pet supply catalogs. My hand-painted shirts were sold all around the world!
After the hand-painted sweats craze of the '80s wore down I moved on and for many years I worked for an international
woven and fabric label company where I became a corporate designer doing logos and illustrations for all the huge names in
the fashion industry. There I learned the exact specifications required for designing for conversion to weaving, a highly
specialized field that now comes in handy to many of my clients. Not only do I design their logo, but I give them their corporate
I.D. and labels for their company name clothing lines, as well as hang tags, pocket flashers, size stickers, and anything
and everything else a fashion line needs to market it's garments. Now I am completely freelance, I make my entire income
from finding clients over the internet and working with them that way. I love NOT commuting and I love working with my dogs
all around me in my home office in the beautiful rolling hills of the start of the Catskill Mountains amidst horse farms and
dairy farms and lots of fresh air. I am a very happy designer and it is thanks to you, my clients. I'm always looking forward
to meeting new entrepreneurs to welcome into my family of long-term clients. Just email me at: artmachine@aol.com
or info@bobbygenetheartmachine.com. I will promptly respond so you can make your artistic dreams
become a reality! Thanks, and please enjoy my website. You
are personally invited to Come visit my store on CafePress!
where you can order my original art on mugs, t-shirts, hats, and many other fine gifts.
